- Out of Bounds
A) Beyond any boundary fence or wall enclosing farmland an the white post around the practice ground at the 9th and 18th.
B) Outside the white line, posts or rail fence behind the 18th green and 1st tee
C) The white line and posts around the greenkeepers sheds and work area
2. Roads, Tracks and Paths
The roadway alongside the 2nd, 7th, 9th and 18th is an immovable obstruction and should be treated within rule 24-2. Please be aware of the nearest point of relief before you touch/move your ball away from the roadway. All other paths and tracks are integral parts of the course.
3. Stones in Bunkers are movable obstructions. Rule 24-1 applies.
4. Fixed Sprinkler Heads
These are immovable obstructions and relief from interference may be obtained under rule 24-2. In addition, if such an obstruction is on or within 2 club lengths of the putting green of the hole being played, intervenes on the line of play between the ball and hole, the player may obtain relief, without penalty, as follows:-
If the ball lies off the putting green, but not in a hazard, and is within 2 club lengths of the intervening obstruction, it may be lifted, cleaned and dropped at the nearest point to where the ball lay which a) is not nearer the hole, b) avoids such intervention and c) is not in a hazard, or on the putting green.
5. Old Hole Plugs/Capped Holes
Intervening between a ball on the green and the hole may be considered ground under repair and the ball may be lifted and placed without penalty not nearer the hole at the nearest point of relief.
6. Tees During Winter Rules
When winter tees are in use, the white and yellow tees will be deemed Ground Under Repair when not in play. Full relief from the tee surface and surrounding banks must be taken.
Penalty For Breach Of Local Rules:-
Match Play – loss of hole; Stroke Play – 2 strokes
In addition to these local rules, it is a club rule that no player may retrieve a ball that is out of bounds over any fence guarding farmland – there are no exceptions
